Spain is located in south-western Europe and covers most of the Iberian Peninsula. It has borders with France and Andorra.

Limitations
ES domain zone has no limitation on registration and use of domain names.
However, note that if a domain name contains words, which some way or another violate third party rights or trademark right of the European Union, all applications for such domain names are automatically queued and manually processed by domain zone administration.
Such applications may be processed within several working days to several months. A domain is specified as free in WHOIS until its registration application is processed, however, all requests from other registrars for such domain are declined.
