MOBI domain zone is provided for websites and services optimized for mobile and wireless devices.

Websites to be registered in MOBI domain should support at least WAP or similar technologies, i.e., to have all features specifically required for mobile phones (possibilities to operate on a small screen, mainly text contents and high download rates).
The sponsor of this new domain zone is a consortium comprising such companies as Microsoft, Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Telefonica Movilies, Hutchinson 3 and GSM Association. A MOBI indicator in the website name will ensure its adequate operation in any mobile device.

Transfer
Domains in MOBI zone may be transferred for service from another registrar with domain renewal for one more year.
